About the Black Business Month Mixer
Launched in 2024, the Black Business Month Mixer has quickly become one of Long Island’s signature gatherings for entrepreneurs, innovators, and community leaders. The event was created with a simple but powerful intention:
to strengthen the ecosystem for Black-owned and small businesses across Long Island by fostering meaningful networking, visibility, and access to opportunity.
Each year, business owners, emerging founders, organizational leaders, educators, and decision-makers come together to share insights, explore growth pathways, and build collaborations that support long-term sustainability. The Mixer creates a welcoming and energetic environment where connections turn into partnerships and ideas evolve into action.
