About This Weekend: What a Mall Pop-Up Revealed About Mindset and Opportunity

This weekend, I stepped outside the usual and tried something different.

Alongside a colleague, I set up a table at a local mall to showcase my books and share information about my upcoming International Women’s Wealth Summit. It wasn’t a conference or a high-level networking event. It was a simple pop-up, in a public space, with all kinds of people walking by, some curious, some cautious, and some completely uninterested.

One encounter caught us off guard.

A woman walked by, and as I attempted to hand her a flyer, she quickly replied, “No, I don’t do anything religious.” My colleague and I looked at each other, a bit surprised. The flyer had nothing to do with religion. We explained that it was a Women’s Wealth Summit, not a faith-based event. She paused for a second, then asked, “Is it for entrepreneurs?” I told her, “It’s for women.”

Her final response was, “I already have a job, I’m not interested in wealth.”

That statement stuck with me. Not because of rejection, but because of the mindset behind it.

There’s still a belief among some women that wealth isn’t relevant unless you’re an entrepreneur. That it’s tied only to hustle, or to risk. But wealth is so much more. It’s about power, peace, and positioning. It’s about having choices. It’s about legacy. It’s about being able to say yes to yourself, not just to your job.

This weekend reminded me that visibility looks different at every level. Sometimes it’s the stage. Sometimes it’s the sidewalk. But the mission remains the same: to spark conversations that challenge how women think about success, leadership, and wealth.

And that’s what the International Women’s Wealth Summit is all about.

Join us on May 31, 2025, for a transformational experience where women gather, not just to learn about wealth, but to define it for themselves.

Because wealth isn't just a number. It’s a mindset.
