“I Love Money” – Why That’s Not a Dirty Thing to Say

Every time I say “I love money,” I notice the reactions, especially from women. The raised eyebrows, the nervous laughter, the subtle shift in energy.

Somewhere along the way, we were taught that talking about money, let alone loving it, was inappropriate, selfish, or even shameful. But here's the truth: money is not the problem. Silence is.

As women in business, as businesswomen, we cannot afford to be uncomfortable with money. Because whether we like it or not, money makes the world go 'round. It funds our dreams, supports our families, powers our movements, and gives us options.

That’s why I’m hosting the Women’s Wealth Summit on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 9 AM to 2 PM at St. John’s University. It's time to shift the narrative. Wealth isn’t just about luxury, it’s about freedom, impact, and legacy.

Here are three powerful reasons why creating wealth matters:

1. Freedom to Choose

Wealth gives you options, where to live, how to work, who to work with, and when to say no. It creates space for you to rest, pivot, and grow without being trapped by survival mode.

2. Power to Give

With wealth, you’re not just able to meet your own needs, you can become a force of change. Whether it’s supporting causes you believe in or funding initiatives in your community, money becomes a tool for impact.

3. Legacy that Lives On

Creating wealth means building something that outlives you. It’s the opportunity to pass on values, businesses, property, and possibilities to future generations. It’s about rewriting the story, not just for ourselves, but for those who come after us.

So no, I won't whisper about money. I’ll say it loud: I love money. I respect what it can do. And I want more women to feel the same.

Join me at the Women’s Wealth Summit. Let’s talk about money. Let’s build it, manage it, and multiply it, together. Learn more at www.nevalliance.com
